Two Beds, One Day.

Yesterday Nate and I had the day off together, so I was determined to get some stuff done. We desperately needed a new bed, so we went to Sit n Sleep in Torrance to look at mattresses. Our goal was to at least get the mattress, then when we could afford it, get the frame at a later date. Well God came through and we got a mattress, box springs, frame, free delivery, and free removal of our old one...all for a great sale price as well as getting it all financed with no interest for 19 months! Woo hoo! So we get it delivered on Thursday...can't wait! Nate is going to really miss our old King, but we had to get a queen because we need the room (for the bassinet etc) and so I can get off of my side instead of being trapped against the wall.
So the second thing we did, being excited about our bed and wanting to get new bedding for it (which is way cheaper than King sets may I say), is go to Target. Of course we walked by the baby stuff...and then noticed a crib on the end of the isle. I told Nate that was the style I wanted but instead of the cherry wood, I wanted the ebony. But then we looked at the price and the crib was on sale until Saturday for $50 off and was the only one left. So after we bothered a sales associate to check about the ebony one, we decided to buy the crib. And though we were going to wait a few more months, you just can't pass up on a good deal!

So now we have two beds, one for us, and one for our little munchkin :)

A Kumquat

Today I'm 10 weeks along - yay! And my baby has officially graduated from an embryo to a fetus, and is the size of a kumquat.

Still no bad sickness, but man am I tired! I thought I knew what tired was before...but I was wrong! And yes yes I know, it's only going to get worse when the baby comes lol.
I had another baby dream last night, and in it I couldn't make it to my ultrasound so Alexis went for me (alone I might add, very strange) and came back with the news I was having a boy. I think I felt very upset that other people knew before me. My dream just backs up my overall feeling that I think I'm having a boy. Which doesn't make sense because I think we would really like to have a girl, and my brother is convinced that's what I'm having, and my grandma thinks so too. But we will see, either way would be fun. Speaking of my grandma, we email back a forth once a week a least, and the other day she sent me a really sweet email:

"I am so excited about this baby. I think it is a girl! Don't worry I won't come over and and kidnap the baby!! LOL....It is quite sad but I am more excited about your baby that any of the others."

How cute is that? She already has 4 greatgranddaughters....so this makes me feel like my baby is extra special :)

I will try to post belly pics soon - but I have to go to work!
